The SPU-48 is a transformer suitable for controlling one or two 15-48VDC circuits. It has universal 115-240V power input capabilities for a high degree of field flexibility. It is distinguished by its wide input voltage range (16.8V to 137.5V), high efficiency of up to 93% , and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C . It offers protection against short circuit, over voltage and over temperature, and meets the railway standards EN50155 and EN45545-2.
In addition, the SPU-48 features an easy-to-use graphic display front panel , a durable design that can withstand harsh environments , and it allows full control of dual channel lighting fixtures .
