SecureCattle®
An advanced solution that acts as a synthetic analogue of the Bovine Appeasing Pheromone (BAP), which is naturally secreted by cattle through the sebaceous glands of the udder. SecureCattle® mimics the action of this natural pheromone and helps reduce stress, which positively contributes to the overall health and performance of the animal. Stress can have a negative effect on fertility, the immune system, growth, meat quality (high pH), group formation and behaviour.

SecureCattle® contains components that are detected by the cattle via the vomeronasal organ (VNO), a specialized sensory organ that transmits signals to the brain. This organ, also known as Jacobson's organ, is located in the nasal cavity and helps the animal to capture and process the pheromones.

SecureCattle®: the natural, safe solution
SecureCattle® is a natural, sustainable and safe pour-on solution that does not cause any unwanted side effects, even with excessive exposure. The solution is easily administered with a dosing pump. A dose of 5 ml is applied to the head or shoulders of the animal. This ensures an effective, safe and long-lasting effect that improves both the productivity and the well-being of your cattle.

Also for calves
Calves are exposed to various stressors in the pre-weaning period, such as separation from the mother, dietary changes and group formation. These factors can affect their health and performance. Application of SecureCattle® every 14 days from birth to weaning helps reduce stress and support calf health.

Application:
SecureCattle® can be used in stressful situations such as:

• Transportation
• At (export) collection locations
• Transport to slaughterhouse
• New environment
• 'Milking in' at new robot / installation
• First time grazing
• Shave
• First times through a foot bath
• Addition of new cows to the group
• Claw treatments, inseminations and vaccinations

Administration and duration of action

• Remove the cap and attach the special dosing pump to the bottle.
• Apply 5 ml of the ready-to-use solution to the shoulders or between the horns.
• Apply 4-6 hours before a stressful situation.
• Duration of action: maximum 15 days after application.
• One liter of SecureCattle® is sufficient for 200 applications.

Precautions and storage
Store in a dry and frost-free place at a temperature between 5 °C and 25 °C.
