Description
The Grofit feeders are designed to meet the highest demands in terms of animal welfare and efficiency in pig farming. Since its introduction in 2001, thousands of stables both at home and abroad have been equipped with this multifeeder, based on years of knowledge and experience. The Grofit meets all the requirements that you as a pig farmer can expect from a modern feeding system.
How does the Grofit food bowl work?
The Grofit multifeeder is suitable for feeding chunks, meal and CCM without bridging. The design of the storage container makes bridging virtually impossible. The system has a feed capacity of 165 to 208 liters and contains two separate dosing systems, allowing you to supply two cages with feed separately. With adjustment handles you can accurately dose the feed output per side. Four high-quality stainless steel drinking nipples with adjustable water passage provide the pigs with fresh drinking water. Each Grofit can be equipped with a lockable lid with a hinged inspection hatch and has two stainless steel mounting angles for solid mounting.
Applications of the Grofit
For Piglets:
The Grofit piglet feeders are designed for easy feed and water intake with a short learning phase and easily accessible troughs. Available in 50 cm and 68 cm wide (four feeding places per side), these feeders can be placed in the dividing wall of two cages or in the middle of a cage.
For fattening pigs:
The Grofit feeders for fattening pigs make it possible to feed large groups of pigs without any problems. Suitable for ten to eighty pigs, these systems are available with a 50 cm or 80 cm wide trough, with three feeding places per side.
Grofit Variants
- Grofit Single: A single system that fits in every stable, against both the side and front walls of the cages.
- Grofit Unit: Suitable for the sorti-stall concept, where large groups of pigs are sorted via sortiboxes to the feeding areas. These units can be linked together indefinitely.
- Grofit Sensor: Offers the option of dispensing dry food and fully automated liquid by-products with sensors that control the feeding valves.
