Electrocution device, incl. pliers

The euthanasia of pigs weighing 5 kg or more can be performed without post-operative bleeding using these electrocution forceps. High current is used.

For the two-step euthanasia, the current intensity is pre-set based on body weight. In the first step, the pig is stunned by applying pressure to its head. The device emits an acoustic signal upon completion. Then, the device is applied to the chest, resulting in cardiac arrest. The completion of this process is also signaled by an acoustic signal.

Sales are only permitted if there is demonstrable professional animal husbandry. The device complies with the applicable EC Regulation 1099/2009.
