Flies can pose a serious threat to farm animal welfare and pose a significant burden. Flies can also transmit diseases. Only a small portion of the fly population is visible as adults, as a large part of the fly population is in its developmental stage as eggs, larvae, or pupae in manure, slurry, and litter. This highly effective specialty product can be used to control fly maggots in manure, slurry, or litter. Larvicides inhibit the growth of fly larvae by interfering with their molting process and causing them to die. The product's range covers 600 m².

This product is a biocide according to Section 10 of the ChemBiozidDV. Therefore, the transferor (an employee of GFS-Top-Animal-Service GmbH, authorized under Section 13 of the ChemBiozidDV) must hold a transfer meeting with the buyer before concluding the purchase agreement, covering the following:
(a) possible preventive measures to control pests and possible low-risk alternative measures,
(b) the intended and correct use of the biocidal product in accordance with the instructions for use, in particular prohibitions and restrictions,
(c) the risks associated with the use of the biocidal product and possible risk mitigation measures,
(d) the necessary precautions for the intended use and in case of accidental spillage or release, and
e) correct storage and disposal.
