Topro Opti Trace bolus is a mineral diet feed in the form of a bolus, specially formulated for young cattle/dairy cattle from 250 kg.

The bolus provides a daily level of trace elements (iodine, cobalt, copper, zinc and selenium) for 6 months. This contributes to aoptimal resistanceandfertilityfor dairy cattle and young cattle over 250 kg. A bolus can also be administered to provide additional support to a cow during growth or at times of high stress such as illness, calving or insemination.

Opti Trace bolus dosage

• Dairy cattle: 1 Opti Trace bolus every 200 days. At drying off, 1 Topro Dry bolus can be administered as an extra if necessary
• Young cattle over 250 kg: 1 Opti Trace bolus when grazing and 1 Opti Trace bolus when putting into the stable (or 1 Opti Trace bolus every 200 days)
• Do not administer to young cattle under 250 kg
• Do not administer 2 Opti Trace boluses at the same time

Explanation of instructions for use

• Remove the foil from the bun
• Administer with a suitable bolus shooter
• It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian or nutritionist before use regarding:
  1. the balance of trace elements in the daily ration
  2. the status of the seizure with regard to trace elements
• To increase density, the bolus contains 16.5% inert iron, where applicable
• Where applicable, simultaneous administration of additives from other sources for which a maximum level has been established with those of a bolus should be avoided
