Topro Phosphorus bolus
The Topro Phosphorus bolus is a mineral dietary feed for dairy cows to reduce the risk of milk fever.

Support of the mineral balance
Around calving, a mineral imbalance often occurs. A calcium deficiency (milk fever) is the most well-known of these. An additional symptom can be a phosphorus deficiency. This deficiency can lead to Downer syndrome. This condition manifests itself in the animal no longer being able to stand upright. In contrast to milk fever, the temperature, heart rate and breathing are normal. The Topro Phosphorus bolus has been developed to support the phosphorus and calcium balance.

Dosage Topro Phosphorus bolus
Minimum dosage

• 2 boluses at the first signs of calving or immediately after calving.

Extra dosage

• 2 boluses for signs of a phosphorus or calcium deficiency.

After a calcium infusion

• 2 boluses as soon as the cow gets up again.
• If necessary, repeat after 12 hours after the cow has stood again.

Explanation of instructions for use

• Administer with a suitable bolus shooter
• It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian or nutritionist before use regarding:
  1. the balance of trace elements in the daily ration
  2. the status of the seizure with regard to trace elements
• To increase density, the bolus contains 16% inert iron, where applicable
• Where applicable, simultaneous administration of additives from other sources for which a maximum level has been established with those of a bolus should be avoided
