By placing the maternity pad in the piglet nest, you improve the piglet's comfort. The maternity pad can positively influence the animals' species-specific feeding and activity behavior. Furthermore, the maternity pad absorbs moisture and ensures a balanced heat balance.

At the udder and in the piglet's birthing area, the farrowing pad reduces slipping and increases safety. Spreading piglets have a secure and secure grip. The moisture absorption can positively influence the piglets' drying process. Furthermore, newborn piglets are protected from drafts and hypothermia.

The maternity mat is made entirely of hemp and can be disposed of in the compost after use. It will then decompose completely.
