Bovi-Bond Hoof Glue 210ml is the fast drying polyurethane adhesive used to bond hoof blocks to the animal's healthy hoof, helping to heal the injured hoof. Explanation of preparing patterns & hoof

• Preparing patterns:
  Open Bovi-Bond cartridge by turning the cap counterclockwise. Place the mixing tip on the Bovi-Bond cartridge by pressing it down and turning it clockwise. Place the Bovi-Bond cartridge in the dispenser.
• Hoof preparation:
  Trim, rasp and balance the claw (grinder is faster). DRY THE CLAW WELL with a heat gun or hair dryer.
• Application:
  Apply Bovi-Bond directly to the block in a strip approximately 15mm wide. This will vary depending on the shape of the claw. Immediately press the block gently onto the clean, dry claw and hold for 20 seconds. Do not squeeze out all the adhesive. Leave 2-3mm of thickness of material between block and claw. The material should be HARD and loadable in approximately 2-3 minutes. When finished, immediately remove and discard the mixing tip and replace with a cap. For additional applications, re-level the cartridge and fit a new tip.
• Important information:
  Do not cover areas with glue where there is moisture, bleeding or infection. Bovi-Bond is best used between 18°C ​​and 30°C. When using rubber claw blocks, clean them with denatured alcohol and dry them before applying.
• Cold weather suggestions:
  Keep the cartridges and blocks warm. Tip: Keep both in an insulated “cooler” or jugs of hot water. Heat the block with the heat gun for 10 seconds. Keep the hoof off the ground for an additional minute. Heat the block for 10 to 15 seconds.
