How does the Grofit Feeder work?
The Grofit multifeeder is suitable for feeding pellets, meal and CCM without bridging. The design of the storage container makes bridging practically impossible. The system has a feed capacity of 165 to 208 litres and contains two separate dosing systems, allowing you to feed two pens separately. With adjustment handles you can accurately dose the feed delivery per side. Four high-quality stainless steel drinking nipples with adjustable water passage provide the pigs with fresh drinking water. Each Grofit can be equipped with a lockable lid with a hinged inspection hatch and has two stainless steel mounting angles for solid attachment.
Applications of the Grofit
For piglets:
The Grofit piglet feeders are designed for easy feed and water intake with a short learning phase and easily accessible troughs. Available in 50 cm and 68 cm width (four feeding places per side), these feeders can be placed in the partition wall of two pens or in the middle of a pen.
For Meat Pigs:
The Grofit feeders for meatPigs make it possible to feed large groups of Pigs without any problems. Suitable for ten to eighty Pigs, these systems are available with a 50 cm or 80 cm wide trough, with three feeding places per side.
- Grofit Single:A single system that fits in any stable, against both the side and front walls of the pens.
- Grofit Unit:Suitable for the sorti-stal concept, where large groups of pigs are sorted via sortiboxes to the feeding areas. These units can be linked together indefinitely.
- Grofit Sensor:Offers the possibility to dispense dry feed and fully automated liquid by-products with sensors controlling the feed valves.
