Indication: For the treatment of digitalis dermatitis (Mortellaro's disease)
Target species: Cattle
Method of administration:
For external use only. Shake the can well before use. If necessary, clean the lesion with a disposable cloth to avoid direct contact with the spray. Spray the area to be treated from a distance of 15 cm for 3 seconds.
Apply the veterinary medicinal product to the lesion. Cover the lesion completely with the spray in a treatment consisting of the following steps:
- Day 0: Spray on the lesion and cover with a bandage
- Day 3: Remove the bandage and spray again, without the bandage
- Day 7: If recovery is insufficient, spray again without a bandage.
If there is no recovery by day 10, contact a veterinarian.
The bandage is not supplied with the veterinary medicinal product.
Pregnancy or lactation:
The safety of this veterinary medicinal product has not been established during pregnancy or lactation. Given the low systemic absorption of the active ingredients, teratogenic, fetotoxic, or maternotoxic effects are unlikely to occur at the recommended dose. Use only in accordance with the benefit/risk assessment by the responsible veterinarian.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals: Harmful if swallowed. Avoid hand-to-mouth contact. Do not eat or drink while using this veterinary medicinal product. Wash hands after use. May be harmful after skin contact. May degrease the skin. Avoid skin contact. Wear chemical-resistant gloves. Wash hands after use. May cause respiratory irritation, drowsiness, or dizziness. Do not breathe vapors. Use in ventilated areas. If inhaled, move to fresh air. May cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, including hand-to-eye contact. Wear protective glasses. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice and show the package leaflet or the label to the physician. May be harmful to the unborn child. Avoid skin contact. Wear chemical-resistant gloves. Wash hands after use. Flammable spray. Keep away from sources of ignition. Do not smoke when using this veterinary medicinal product. Do not spray on an open flame or ignition source.
